The Cherry Blossom
Evocative harbinger
Of renewed spirits
Fading to the sun,
Mirages produce a tableau
Ethereal sights
Harvest winds descend
Do you hear the gray wolves’ pine,
Under the blue moon?
At the solstice rise,
like the snow, all disappears
Then returns anew
