How dare you?

You said the word.

We agreed not to ever

.

E

V

E

R

.

EVER

say that word to one another.

You promised.

I promised.

So many times, I bit my tongue.

Occasionally, I put my hand over my mouth.

I never once let it slip.

Yet,

You didn't just say it,

You said it loudly

In

Public.

.

.

I felt the blood heat up my cheeks.

I felt the tears well up and spill down.

The biggest shame of it is -

I will never feel the same about you

All because

You

Said

THE

Word.
