The Witness

Observe and Let it Be

By EYHCSPublished 3 years ago • 1 min read

I observe.

When it becomes too much, I release what I have observed.

I release what I have noticed.

I release what I have felt.

I release what I have heard.

I release what does not belong to me.

It is the only way I can genuinely remain free.

Thus, I must let it be.

For the branches of this tree are not for me.

I recognized I was the witness and not the participant.

✨✨✨ Thank you for taking a trip down my investigatory highway of learning to let go of what no longer serves the mind, illuminates the body, or uplifts the spirit. I write poems meant to jar away the scabs of doubt and disbelief. 💖💖💖
