The Wind Came

Putting fear in our hearts of what’s to come next

The Wind Came

The wind came,

hitting the UK with a force

with strength that shocked.

Not a tornado,

but stronger.

The sea overflowed to the land,

trees blew down,

power out,

buildings with no roofs.

Is God angry with the world,

or is this a warning

from hidden hostile enemies

that now watch from our sky?

Is this a warning

of what is to come?

Do UFOs exist?

Only God knows.

Am I wrong?

Is it just Mother Earth

showing her anger

at our ignorance

and selfish way?

Are we doomed?

The winds, thunder

and lightning came

and destroyed in retaliation

for our hearts

full of ignorance

and selfish ways.

The winds came

like night to a day,

destroying

then easing away.

Leaving us to choose

and see the errors

of our selfish,

murderous,

destroying ways.
