The Whisper of Waves

A Seaside Symphony

By Ravi DPublished 2 years ago • 1 min read

You can always hear the ocean's whisper

First the beach trembles with a thousand grains

Rising to the hush of foam-tipped fingers

The sigh of tides pulling at the shore

A mermaid's lullaby

Some say it's a blessing

The salt-tinged breeze a promise

Those who listen

Might be graced with ocean's gifts

Skin glistening

Despite the chill of twilight

A dreamer might chase the horizon

A poet might dance with the spray

A fisherman is patient

And sure with his nets

An unwary soul is claimed by the deep

Each one becomes a ripple

In the ocean's endless song
