In the shadow where dreams dissolve,

I watched you fade, a fleeting star.

Your laughter, once a summer song,

now lingers where the echoes are.

We built forever on fragile sand,

promised the skies, held fleeting time.

But tides devoured what love had planned,

leaving silence, cold, sublime.

I call your name in endless night,

but the wind returns no sound, no face.

Only the stone beneath my hands

marks the loss I can’t erase.

You are the winter I can’t outlast,

the echo of love, a distant sky.

Forever lost in the aching past,

a whisper of goodbye.
