The Weight of the Unseen

When the Soul Grows Tired Before the Body Does

There’s a tiredness not born from sleep,

A weight the soul alone must keep.

It settles deep in quiet bones,

In whispered sighs and muted tones.

It comes from heartbreak left unspoken,

From dreams once whole now bruised and broken.

From carrying hopes too long, too far,

Underneath an ever-fading star.

It’s longing’s ache, it’s sorrow’s thread,

It’s the silent things we leave unsaid.

A kind of tired no rest can mend,

A silent war that has no end.

Yet still, we rise on worn-out feet,

Still hold the sky despite defeat.

For even when the spirit shakes,

The soul endures for its own sake.🌙
