The Weight of Family

A Portrait of Sacrifice and Love

In the early morning light,

A man rises from his bed,

To face the day with all his might,

And leave his worries unsaid.

*

He's a family man, through and through,

With a wife and kids to love and care,

But lately, life's been tough to chew,

And he's struggling to keep it all in the air.

*

Bills to pay and mouths to feed,

A job that's always demanding more,

The weight of responsibility, indeed,

Can sometimes feel like an unbearable chore.

*

But he soldiers on, day by day,

With a heart that's full of love and pride,

He'll do whatever it takes to find a way,

To keep his family safe and satisfied.

*

Even when the nights are long,

And he's bone-tired from the grind,

He knows in his heart it won't be wrong,

To put his family's needs first in his mind.

*

For in the end, what truly matters,

Is the love and bond that they all share,

And he'll do his best to never shatter,

This precious family affair.

*

So here's to the family man,

And all the struggles he must face,

May he find strength in his own plan,

And never forget his love's embrace.
