The Weathered Compass

Lost in the Desert, Will This Ancient Tool Lead Them Home? (A Poetic Journey of Hope and Determination)

By Sudipta DPublished 3 days ago 1 min read

Explorer: The map crumples, worn with age,

Its once vibrant lines, a faded page.

Lost in this endless, shifting sand,

No guiding star, no helping hand.

Compass (whispering): North lies hidden, veiled in dust,

But trust the needle, hold your trust.

Though landmarks fade, the pull remains,

A silent guide through sun and rain.

Explorer: Doubt whispers, a chilling breeze,

This path leads nowhere, only seas.

The sun dips low, a fiery eye,

Will dawn reveal another try?

Compass (steadfast): Though shadows lengthen, fear takes hold,

The north star waits, a story told.

Within your heart, a flicker burns,

The journey's end, where passion yearns.

Explorer: Hope flickers, a fragile spark,

Can this compass guide me through the dark?

One step at a time, through shifting sand,

Perhaps this map holds a hidden land.

Compass (softly): Believe, dear traveler, hold me tight,

Together we'll pierce the endless night.

For even lost, with purpose true,

The heart's compass will guide you through.
