The Way We Fight

The way we used to fight

The Tangled Web We Weave

I miss the way we used to fight,

Before the tragedies took our sight,

I miss the way you used to hug me while i cried,

And i used to hold you close when tears shed from your eyes,

A time when we felt so deeply for one another,

As if the world around us had been smothered,

Non existent to our eyes that only viewed each other as being together for life,

Oh i miss the times,

When i knew you were mine,

When you knew i was yours,

When there weren’t so many scars,

How we always found a way to laugh,

How knew exactly how to love each other back,

How every star in the sky ,

Reminded me of the look i see in your eyes,

I just miss the pure love it always felt like we had,

No matter what life brought and threw on our backs,

I regret that theres no way to change the past,

I just thought id be afraid of our love nit being able to last.
