The Way I Hurt

For My Father

By Halie MariePublished 8 years ago • 1 min read

Why does it always seem that every time you say goodbye you come right back around

And why do I find myself at night letting my tears drip onto the ground

I guess what they say is true, it's better said than done

Was I just an experiment? Was I just for your own fun?

Do you enjoy seeing me in pain? Do you like how much I hurt?

Of course you do! Just look at you, you're a selfish jerk

See the thing is I hate you with everything I have

But the worst part is, you're my biological dad
