The way I choose to walk.

Barren land, once was a plain, never hope for a harvest to bring,

Desolate strand, drive insane, no hope for the heart to sing,

Parched, devoid, complete disdain, tear the earth apart,

Shatter, destroyed, unyielding pain, softening the hardened heart,

Yet, a springing forth from the wilderness from words spoken from seasons prior,

As the storm shrouds the heavenly realms, as soldiers hearken to a battle crier,

Hope that stirs, faith to believe, tear droplets like that from the morning dew,

A springing forth from wilderness, as the impossible would then ensue,

As a killing stroke against an enemy, as a show of power and might,

So it was with those who believed, against those who say, despite…
