We finally got the courage to get out the bed. And enter the living room. i heard Dad and Gina at the kitchen table eating. Dad seemed unbothered this morning.

Like he forgot last night. More like he didn't care. It wasn't that alarming though. Dad was a nonchalant person. It made me mad actually. That he didn't even ask how we slept last night.

But I got over it. Once I saw Fruity Pebbles. Forget that little bitty rat. I'm trying to eat good. And soon after we ate, I quickly forgot about it. Time to go play outside.
