Elliot’s heart pounded as he looked around the room. The costumes, the props—they weren’t just relics. They were alive, imbued with the spirits of actors long gone, and now they were calling to him.

A strange, overpowering desire welled up within him to stay in the theater, to be a part of its legacy. The stage was no longer just a platform for fleeting performances; it was a gateway to something far more profound and eternal.
