The Valley of Dark Shadows

Hidden between the unknown mountains 

Not a place where you would normally go

Here strange things seem to flow 

Certain events you definitely don't want to know 

Clouds move in to cast a shadow 

Opportunities of escape seem narrow 

Hopefully conversation is not too shallow 

Unusual happenings seem to be like strange fellows

It is as if these sand dunes are waiting to be fed 

Make you stand still and shake with dread

Don't let them take you dead 

Minimal opportunities for you to have fled

Consider what you have already said 

Thoughts that make you shiver right to the marrow

There is no way out of the valley of dark shadows
