The Unnecessary Line

A Poem

We fell apart one day

It wasn’t expected, but somehow we knew it would happen

I pulled away, you pushed me

But that’s neither here nor there

Energy pulls and pushes

Dreams create and die, as does love

But the spark can remain, hidden in the cracks

A few weeks went by, and the resentment faded away

And you’re next to me again today

A line drawn in the sand

Now we walk side by side, again

Hand in hand

Our Twin Flame, once again lit

The flame is burning hotter than ever

And there is no guilt for what happened

heartbreak
