Can the two of you come together if for me?...

Desire, and Reality‐

To get you two to dance together...

even if only for a moment,

might just cost me everything‐

as I cannot even get the two of you in a room together.

~

The former of you is fleeting and the latter, cruel‐

among your contrast, you have in common your ways against me...

So, why cant you two stand each other?

To have the two of you face to face might just take from me my own...

but a break from this war might just be worth the cost of the next breath bring my last.

~

Can the two of you come together if for me?...

Share a stroke of a brush for once, and once only

paint before me this beautiful nightmare‐

if you do...

you'll not have another request from me.

~

Desire, and Reality‐

come, hear my plea and share this one dance,

bring this rift between you two to an end...

grant me this one, single, thing‐

and never again, will either of you hear one of my Dangerous Wishes.

About the Creator

JM

Personally, writing began as a creative outlet, to be a means of processing and venting emotion, but it has become so much more. Something I want not to be just relatable, enjoyable and a good read, but to reach someone who is in need.
