I hear that train a comin'

comin' down the row

I can hear those tracks a thumpin'

Only one way to go

They say there's a secret other side

but i cant imagine a better ride

Green grass growing deep roots

sun shining through

i can feel it, can you?

feel when that trains a comin'

your heart gets to thumpin'

I can hear that train comin'

rollin' down the tracks

the rails get to humming

moving so damn fast

like its never coming back

coming back from where its goin'

one way ticket, its a one way ride

that always keeps you hungry and searching

cause you never reach the other side

the other side was where you were going

better off knowing

that nobody else knows how

to make sense of this trail of mischief

but it all comes around

full of scars

are falling stars

that always fade away

yea those silly little crimes

come to deal with you in time

and that the train comin'

don't look back, its the better way

cause you cant stop the train from coming
