The Town

Full of energy and without frowns I welcome you to the town.

Slip 'n slides scattered all across the town,

Not a single persons' face adorned a frown.

Shouts and hollers could be heard as the band rolled on by,

The grandest of smiles from kids so exhilarated with happiness at a high.

The parade was commencing, and everyone was around,

Even mean old Mr. Periwinkle, to which the town felt confound.

They cheered when he came with such an astound,

That the grin from his face was washed off profound.

He joined on in with the cheer and the band,

He grabbed up a trumpet and a hat oh so grand.

They strutted through town with wild silly faces,

Up down left right and through, all of the places.

They jumped and they joked, and they played fun games,

Old Mr. Periwinkle could be seen riding a motorcycle through flames!

The town danced about as the parade came to a close,

Such a spectacle, a parade full of shows.

Most people would think that's too much excitement for one day,

But for this town, it's just another Tuesday.
