Raise your glass
And say a prayer
At a loss for words
This moment will not pass

Hold your tongue
Take a deep breath
Your heart beating fast
No, this moment won't end

Keep the tears
And still your heart
Breaking into shards
You know will never mend
-
The best man
You try to be
Always the last man
She looks to in the end
-
Still you try
And you hold fast
To the hope inside
While love leaves you broken
-
Everything
You gave to her
Nothing was enough
Though you try to pretend
-
Walk away
Learn to let go
She will walk her path
Find your own way and mend.

Before Sylvester the Cat, there was Sylvester the Dog
Sylvester was a Merrie Melodies canine Sylvester, the Cat, is a beloved Looney Tunes character who debuted in March 1947 in the animated short Life with Feathers. The iconic Mel Blanc once said that he enjoyed voicing Sylvester, one of his favorite characters. The cartoon short that was near and dear to Blanc's heart was Bird's Anonymous which starred the popular cat.
