⏳ The Time We Waste

A Poetic Reflection on Lost Moments and the Journey to Reclaiming Purpose

"Slipping Away: The Time We Cannot Hold"

The clock does not pause for a wandering soul,

Yet we barter our minutes for things we don’t hold.

Endless scrolls, fleeting highs, shallow delight,

While dreams sit in silence, forgotten in night.

We chase empty echoes, reflections unseen,

Trading gold hours for pixels that gleam.

The books left unread, the thoughts left unsaid,

While time moves ahead, unfazed by our dread.

A task left undone, a goal cast away,

Tomorrow we whisper—tomorrow we’ll stay.

But tomorrows fade fast, lost to the stream,

Of moments misspent in a half-hearted dream.

Yet deep in the quiet, when all noise is still,

A voice calls us back, a whisper, a will.

Not all time is wasted, not all is in vain,

For purpose rekindles in hearts once restrained.

So rise from the glow of distraction’s embrace,

Reclaim the lost minutes, step into your place.

For time waits for no one, yet those who pursue,

Will find it still lingers—in dreams that come true.
