I.
If I travel back
in time,
when all my failures,
all my foolishness,
dictated my life,
I’d be tempted
to change the course
I took in those dark days.
II.
I'd steer it with the knowledge
I gained
and guide me to choices
I should have made.
III.
But what’s the use?
Those days are gone.
I’ve moved on.
IV.
Life is better now
because of that
miserable past.
V.
So what’s left for me
is to look forward
And be a time traveler
looking forward,
instead of backward.
