The Sweetest Bittersweet

Some come on, take a byte...

By TrævonPublished 6 years ago 1 min read

So precarious,

Spirit keeps on daring us

To make worlds within rooms,

Wombs inside tombs,

Choices from doom

Rejoice from gloom...

Rebirth is not limited to the Christs’ and the Lazarus’

Each one of my lives

Sweetly twine like liquorice

So come on, take a byte

It can’t be that bad

It might be the sweetest bittersweet

You’ve ever had

It just might be the freedom you’ve always

Wanted from dad

Or could that be just what the snake

Got in her head...

There’s a new Eve, a new dawn

New scriptures and new songs

Now a Steve and no wrong

Run a long and bang a gong.
