The Supernatural Halloween Town Meets OZ : Fun Stories
A place where Witches and Warlocks Wonder
In a Misty Town far and about
The Pumpkin King Stands within the Velvet forest
And he looks far out
over the bridge where one sees
The Magical Road that pulls you back up the Hill towards the trees
Where no one ever discovered if Pixies cursed the road or The Goblin King
Cast a curse to imprison our souls
This Town is full of Magic
Especially at night
Witches come to fool around
Ride their broomsticks and race each other for candy apples out of spite
the warlocks use their magic wands to Cast spells on Their beloved ones
Creating a Garden of Fay
Made from pure love
The Hatters Tea Cabin is the spot
Where the Supernatural
stop by to grab a tea and get along
ALICE! Screams a white bunny
Haven't you learned yet?
Time is short you won't make it on time to have your Tea
Ready and warm
The cat appears and mist fogs up the night
Out of the shadow appears a little girl with all Green dress
And tutu black cape cloak
Purple pointy hat that glitters like the moon set
With an Emerald in her hand, she dusts her feet off
Welcomes herself to this Mystical land
This town seems to be up for a challenge
Fill it up with some real Magic
Green mist fogs up the town and all around her
The little girl clicked her red heels 3 times…
Took her Pointy Hat off
wait she thought and looked all around
We are not in the land of Oz
But it's sure trippy how the supernatural get along
A Gold mirror with Trees that mirror an autumn place
Little Princess looks into the mirror and sees a little Witch
"Hmm" she said looking into the mirror
How interesting how unusual said the Girl with a crown
"Hmph" she Pouts
The mirror dims down and the little witch scene dissolves
The little princess asks the magical mirror on the wall
“Mirror mirror on the wall who is the Fairest of them all”?
"You are my princess, " Said the mirror man
"You hold the power in your hands but
There is another that holds the same power as you
Actually, she comes from another Land" Said The mirror man
The little Princess bites her red apple and smiles
Time for a trip to Halloween Town
On full moon night
A little witch takes her mask off and to see
Another girl standing in front of her
Time For Witches Brew Fight
The Witch Knocks Down the Princess Apple And Wacks her with her Broom and a magical boom
The little Princess Blocked her Broom and magic and all
“Excuse me,” said the Princess out of Oddity she shielded her frame
From the Big Boom that traveled around her like a sphere
The Little Witch Vanishes from sight
The Princess tossed an Apple in the air
All you could hear was the little witch's laughter
Throughout the forest
“ This is not the end I shall Cross you again”
Said the Princess and she picked up her Red Apple and Disappeared
“Oh Dear,” Said A Cat turning his Head
with Yellow Eyes and Gray Fur all about
With Blue Stripes on his Head With A purple nose
Don't forget the Grin that Glowed
Twirling Around and about
“So it's True There's no place like home”
Said the Cat with a smile :)

Reaching Out
I promise her. I'd do anything for her. She's my mom. Even as Lanie and Deanna are flying home, Mom is scrappy fighting dying. She lays too still in that too-big bed with all the toasty white hospital blankets, in the south tower, at the broad end of a long slow-turning corner that delivers me again to her private room with the view she can't see through, with the beeping that tells us nothing new, and all these ice chips she can't swallow, and a flood of well-intentioned nurses who cannot do a damned thing all the same.
