A Beautiful gift from God
The sun is bright
The sun is light
It knows its worth
It brings us warmth
The earth, it lights
The night, it fights
To bring us mirth
To give us hearth
Hot it may seem
But hope it shall beam
Harsh it could be
But a beauty we see
Forever in the sky
It watches like an eye
To expose the concealed
Our eyes may not reveal
It brightens our day
And colors our way
Giving us illumination
In our depression
The sun! A beautiful gift from God He placed
A precious gift no one can replace
Shining in the sky with its everlasting glow
The sun! We shall forever know.
