The Sun-Kissed Summer

The summer sun shines bright and warm,

A world of wonder outside the door.

The gentle breeze whispers in my ear,

I close my eyes and breathe it in, oh beauty!

The scent of flowers wafts through the air,

Their colors vibrant, their petals fair.

The buzzing bees and chirping birds,

Their symphony is music to my words.

I feel the grass beneath my toes,

And hear the rustling of the trees that grows.

The sun's warmth on my skin, it glows,

And I savor this moment, as it slows.

The taste of sweet fruits in my mouth,

Juice drips down, a sweet and sticky south.

I savor each bite, oh so divine,

As I bask in nature's sweet sunshine.

The world comes alive in summertime,

A sensory feast that's truly sublime.

I'll cherish this moment forevermore,

And come back again to this open door.
