The Sun Is Getting Hotter
Breathing in this heat is getting bad

The Sun Is Getting Hotter
The summers never feel the same
The air hangs heavy, hard to breathe
The earth looks tired beneath our feet
Like sorrow buried underneath
Children search for shade at noon
Rivers shrink and gardens die
Smoke drifts slowly through the distance
Clouding up another sky
The sun is getting hotter now
Burning stronger every year
People talk while cities crumble
Still pretending nothing’s near
Forests fall beneath the flames
Animals run with nowhere left
Waves rise higher against the shore
Nature mourning every theft
We poison oceans for convenience
Trade clean air for greed and gold
Leaving future generations
A broken world growing old
Still some laugh and turn away
Blind to warnings all around
Ignoring cracks beneath the surface
Till there’s nothing left unbound
The heat reaches through our windows
Sleepless nights become the norm
Storms arrive with violent hunger
Each one stronger than before
Maybe earth is crying out
Maybe this is nature’s pain
Maybe one day we will listen
Before nothing pure remains
