The Storyteller
Let's welcome the storyteller to the stage
Who is this man, papa??
He’s old, big and fat
& he carries big books
& wears a straw hat
Who is this man?
Who is he, papa?
He’s no ordinary,
He’s no ordinary man, son
For - he is a man who is truly
Blessed with gifted power,
from mighty heaven above.
He is a unique person son
A storyteller of class, caliber and talent
He is widely known and he is really gallant..
He has crossed the seven seas,
To tell and narrate stories of glee
To all the people in this town,
And all the children who are free
He is a storyteller, dear son,
An impressive great storyteller..
What all stories does he know, dad?
Are his stories happy or sad?
What all stories he will narrate to us
What all stories does he know??
Stories of Queens, Stories of Kings,
Stories of Angels, who fly with Wings
Stories of Love, Stories of Hope,
Stories of two lovers, who happily elope
Tales of Laughter, Mirth and Joy,
Tales of Darkness, to make you cry
Stories of Dungeons, Stories of Dragons,
Stories of Cinderellas, riding in wagons
Stories of Animals, Humans and God,
Stories of Humpty-Dumpty, who never does nod
Stories of Wit, Mirth and Glee,
Stories of birds who are perched in trees
Stories to tell and stories to laugh,
Stories to love,
and cherish in our hearts..
Oh god!
Oh dear God!!
Oh dear God papa!!!
I want to listen.
I want to listen..
I want to listen to his stories, papa…
His Stories of Laughter, Mirth and Joy,
His Stories of Darkness to make me cry
I want to listen to his stories,
I want to listen to his stories, papa...
