The Star of David
It gleams in gold, in silver light,
A symbol forged through fire and night.
Two triangles, bound yet free,
A tale of faith, eternity.
It shone in exile, burned in war,
Etched on stone, on heart, on door.
A mark of sorrow, strength, and grace,
Unyielding through time’s cruel embrace.
In whispered prayers, through the lands,
It rests in steadfast, weary hands.
A promise kept, a name retold,
In lines of blue, in threads of old.
Beneath its points, the past still stands,
A people’s hope, in distant sands.
Through every loss, through every fight,
The Star of David holds its light.
