At the core of it all - mental stagnation of thought

heralds not an absence of motion...

it becomes an immovable presence ~

...a thick, unmoving atmosphere, a weight, a silence...

It creeps slowly... frostlike - giving the stillness texture,

temperature, color, and consequence.

Static becomes a character.

A Landscape Of The Mind

Where the mind becomes a stalled world.

My thoughts sit like ships in a windless sea,
sails loose,
ropes heavy with salt that has lost its flavor
Even the gods grow bored of me ~
tapping their fingers against the sky,
waiting for a storm that never arrives.

I walk through my own silent head
and the thoughts do not move.

Every idea is akin to an unfinished symphony,
holding its breath for the next stanza

Stagnation becomes a setting ~

for a chisel that no longer cleave.

Static

The Static Mind becomes Surreal

...physical, symbolic and strange.

The brain becomes a chamber...seeking

yearning the bone of every unfinished thought.

A single rose grows in the corner, black‑petaled.
You touch the black diffidence of the stem...

and feel nothing but the vibrations of a stalled universe.

The Static Mind is a Cosmic Creature

A living thing...

A creature curled behind your thoughts,
made of quiet thunder and unlit stars.

It presses its weight into thoughts ~
they fall, knowing not how to rise.

When I try to think,
it turns every idea
into static snow.

You wait for it to move.

It waits for you

to remember

how to burn with your unique fire again.
