The Spooky Bones Skeleton Band

Spooky kooky bags of bones
Rattle in the night
They shriek and scream their eery tones
Their song will give you a fright
Skeletons dance through the streets
They twirl and swirl and sway
Bony toes tap to the beats
They clang the night away
They'll pittle down your alleyway
Screech sharper than a knife
This howling band is not here to stay
The full moon gives them life
You'll wake up quivering in the night
Their song is hard to comprehend
Their bark is fiercer than their bite
The Spooky Bones Skeleton Band wants to be your friend.
Next time a full moon lights up the sky
Listen for their song
And if it wakes you in the night
Feel free to sing along.

Ameera looked at the fat paunch and florid face of her boss, a man who lived for the story and the kudos it brought him but who rarely gave consideration to the people behind the drama. When had he become so hard? She reckoned that by the end of the year, he'd be dead, collapsed from a heart attack and she struggled to conjure any sympathy in that moment and instantly felt ashamed at displaying the same lack of compassion that he had.
