The Spirit of Courage

Courage, a fire that burns within,

A strength that drives us to begin,

A force that pushes us to try,

To soar beyond what meets the eye.

It starts with fear, a trembling doubt,

A voice that whispers "backing out",

But courage comes to take its place,

And shows us we can win the race.

It's standing tall when we feel small,

And facing dangers, great and small,

It's taking risks with head held high,

And not giving up without a try.

It's standing up for what is right,

And shining bright in the darkest night,

It's facing challenges with grace,

And finding power in each embrace.

So let us be courageous then,

And face our fears with hope again,

For courage is a gift we own,

And with it, we can make a throne.

Let us be brave and face the day,

And let our courage light the way,

For with it, we can rise above,

And find the strength to live and love.
