The Spirit Lights That Dance in the Sky
A show for a passing experience

The Spirit Lights That Dance in the Sky
They rose without sound,
soft colours stitched into the night,
moving like memories that refused to stay buried,
each glow a whisper of someone who once breathed.
I watched them sway above the fields,
not stars, not angels, not lies,
just souls learning how to travel
after the weight of living was finally lifted.
Some flickered like nervous hearts,
others burned steady, calm, unafraid,
as if death had answered a question
life never dared to ask.
I felt my chest open watching them,
grief loosening its grip for a moment,
the sky holding what the ground could not,
the dead teaching the living how to rise.
They did not come to haunt us,
they came to remind us,
that even broken lives leave light behind,
and even endings know how to dance.
