The space
Would I love me and you love you?
No there are no rights or wrongs
No places to or not belong
No loss of chances that you took
No past exists, not back to look
No one will ever lie or cheat
No discordance so no defeat
Not one different from the next
No making life so damn complex
No one dictates who you are
Not once alone, hand not afar
No locks outside the door, trapped in
No battles fought lifetimes within
No person who will love then leave
No scale to measure who’s achieved
No need to hold your cards so close
No one competes, compares or boasts
—————-
There is a space between something
It’s here we often think nothing
Yet here is where the real truth lies
Not what’s perceived with blinded eyes
No clock is ticking counting down
Life lived and cherished in the now
——————
If only to be in this space
It’s not a journey or a race
We all appreciate this gift
Embrace the moment, chance to live ______________________________
Imagine if this all were true
Would I love me, and you love you?
About the Creator
You never knew
when nothing is everything other than something
I have a story to tell you. You must listen closely. It’s about someone’s life and things no one knows. It’s about the “nothings” that make “something” of infinitesimal significance.
