The Sound of Silence

In the stillness of the night,

When the world is hushed and quiet,

I listen to the sound of silence,

A peaceful, calming presence.

It whispers secrets to my soul,

And whispers of a life made whole,

A symphony without a score,

The music that I've been yearning for.

It speaks of things left unsaid,

Of dreams and hopes that still lie ahead,

It's the voice of my inner truth,

The voice of my unchanging youth.

And though it may be hard to hear,

This silent sound is always near,

It calls to me from deep within,

And leads me to a brighter win.

So I'll listen to the sound of silence,

And let it be my guiding light,

For in its stillness I'll find peace,

And it will be my heart's release.
