The Solo Architect
Building a life that doesn't wait for permission or a plus-one
Have you ever traveled alone, or longed to?
Chatting with friends, we all mentioned wanting to plan a solo trip this year. It’s not about following trends; it’s about wanting to experience what it’s like to travel at your own pace.
Being alone, eating alone, and traveling alone—while these are all solo activities, each seems to require a different kind of courage. Enjoying being home alone doesn’t necessarily mean you'll enjoy eating out alone. Just because you can shop alone doesn’t guarantee you’re ready to embark on a solo trip.
Sometimes, it’s not that you can’t find someone to accompany you; it’s that you want to add more possibilities to your life. It’s about being able to visit the restaurants you crave and take the trips you dream of, simply because you are capable.
I don't want to miss out on the things I love just because I can't find a partner for the journey. I am slowly practicing becoming the ideal version of myself, moving closer to the life I envision.
