Distractions deployed, a political strategy,
Intricate schemes masking true tragedy.
Stories spun, the public's vision swayed,
Truth obscured, the real issues fade.
Rhetoric designed to misdirect attention,
Away from issues, too vital to mention.
Chaos created, a smoke and mirror show,
Twisting narratives, making confusion grow.
In this spectacle, amidst the friction,
Our task remains, seek truth's depiction,
Never be swayed by some tantalising fiction.
