The Sky

Sober

By Lela VaughnPublished 9 years ago • 1 min read

The sky says things that only I can hear.

Sometimes when I'm sober, the voices, they appear. They lead me toward the little stars that say drink away your fears. Sometimes I believe them when it's dark and I can see them.

Seeing is believing but my beliefs have turn to fears, and now I fear that even I am after myself.

The dark can only hold so much, but I am drowning in what is left.
