The Silent Cry

Whispers of Sorrow

In the quiet of the night, where shadows sneak,

A child sleeps deeply, so to speak.

Yet in the silence, a hush cry,

Sounds of sorrow reach the sky high.

Within small veins, a battle is seen,

Fighting an old enemy so mean.

But in this conflict, innocence weeps,

And each tear, the heart keeps.

Oh, young one, with eyes open wide,

What mysteries within you reside?

In your gentle heart, burdens you bear,

Too heavy for someone so fair.

With each sunrise, a new struggle begins,

Fighting against the darkness within.

But in your eyes, a spark of light

Defying the shadows, you shine so bright.

You are more than just a diagnosis clear,

Beyond what future fears may appear.

In your laughter, in unspoken plea,

Lies the essence of humanity.

In your suffering, we find our role,

To rise above, to reach our goal.

To shower you with caring love,

Together, we face the challenge thereof.

Let not fear's whispers take control,

Of the brilliance within your soul.

In your presence, we are in awe,

Of the strength beneath your fragile facade.

So let us stand united in support,

A beacon in the night, a comforting fort.

For you, dear child, a masterpiece,

In life's gallery, you never cease.

Though storms may come, and tears may falls,

Know you are cherished, forever and all.

In your journey, we find our truth,

In your innocence, our souls do soothe.

So rest, young child, in peace this night,

For with the morning, we'll greet the light so bright.

Together, hand in hand, we'll rise,

*Guided by you, our star in the skies.*
