The Silent Answer
Watching the stars while the world burns.

Those who watch the sun go down,
will one day see me rise like a dream.
In this land of love, where beauty and youth bloom,
why do we light candles when the moon is already here?
I think of those who shed tears for me,
how could they bear to see me in pain?
Yet, here we are, wandering in the burning desert of ignorance,
even when we carry the Book of light in our hands.
Why is this life still wrapped in shadows?
We have the lamps, we have the moon,
but we are still searching for the way.
I know He will forgive me with one true prayer,
even though my sins are more than the stars.
I sat in silence, out of respect for him,
even when I had every answer
burning on the tip of my tongue.
Stay firm in your art.
Stay loyal to your silence.
The universe is not waiting for your words,
it is waiting for your grace.
