The Silence That Spoke Volumes

The unspoken journey of a single raindrop and the truths it carries.

The silence that spoke volume

A single drop fell from the sky,

Its voice too soft to amplify.

No thunder roared, no tempest came,

Yet in its fall, it left a name.

It traced the air, a fleeting arc,

A quiet journey through the dark.

No words, no sound, no grand display,

Yet spoke of truths in its own way.

It kissed a leaf, then met the ground,

A tiny ripple, soft and round.

No crowd to cheer, no eyes to see,

Its story lived in mystery.

The silence held a world within,

Of clouds and winds, and where it’d been.

Its weightless fall, its brief descent,

A tale of life, of how it’s spent.

For in its quiet, I could hear,

The joy, the pain, the whispered fear.

The smallest things, the vastest themes,

A single drop, a sea of dreams.

So listen close, the world may seem

Much louder than a raindrop’s gleam.

But in its silence, it reveals

The kind of truth that sound conceals.
