The Silence of Helios

The Bringer of Life

The Eternal Light

The Silence of Helios

Though frequent, it’s coming is always a shock.

Throughout the long night, all that lives within the dark is free to do as they want.

Unseen. Unknown. Uncaring.

There is a thin line between the two realms of night and day. A line that circles the planet and is in a constant forward rotation.

Before the line, the darkness reigns. Beyond that line, Helios, the Light Bringer sees all that the light touches and the life force of all that lives is known to him.

Eos, his sister is his harbinger, painting the sky with astral hues unseen anywhere else...anytime else...within the whole of the apparent world.

When she appeared, all life begins to stir...every bird finds a song and gives voice to her gossamer dance across the sky. She draws aside the veil of the night.

Every day, the whole world awaits his arrival and the dawn forwards his journey and sets his path across the world.

When Helios arrives...he illuminates the palette of his sister for just a moment and then sets the world on fire with his radiant crown. He flies with purple robes flowing... on a chariot adorned with bright emeralds. He is the sacred, divine force that permeates all existence and is revered for the life-giving power he brings.

Each day all that lives feels his approach and knows that he is once again bringing the renewal of all life.

Denizens of the night begin to quietly retreat to safer places while others stir as they anticipate his warmth and life force. The world grows quiet, caught in the twilight as a tidal wave of expectation flows before him.

As the night wanes before the oncoming tsunami of light, before the personification of the sun erupts and energizes all life once again...there is a silent uptake of energy, a deep silence where you can hear the OM of life.

There is this moment. A moment before the big bang of life itself chooses to manifest. Some know it as the Silence of Helios.

The Wheel turns and each has their role.
