Do you know the feeling of not wanting to exist?

To muffle your cries of frustration within your balled fists?

To feel like you have no power?

To spend endless time in the shower?

To be afraid to go to a place you’re supposed to call home?

To always, even if it makes no sense, feel alone?

To want a life unattainable so bad

Because the life you’re living right now makes you feel so sad?

To pound the walls until your fists are but a bloody mess of meat

While at the same time collapsing into a lonely heap?

To feel so anxious that you can’t breathe,

So all you do is cry, panic, seethe?

Until you once again escape to the soothing embrace of the shower

Because even though it’s within reach you feel you have no power.
