The Shore

Landlocked from birth,

and oblivious to the healing ways of

salty air and cold water,

until today.

It took two decades to arrive here.

But was it worth it?

Nothing could have prepared us

for the revelations on the shore.

So let's build a sandcastle,

and burn beneath a blazing sun.

Finally...

the wounds from our childhood

will have led to something fun.
