The Setting Sun

Each sunset whispers of endings wrapped in golden light, and beginnings still unseen.

The setting sun spoke silently, As if time paused upon its rays gently. The sky, now draped in amber and wine, Held stories etched between each line. A hush spread across the glowing land, Like memories slipping from one’s hand. Each ray a memory, soft and deep, Stirring the heart from its hidden sleep. Behind the hills it slowly sank, Leaving behind a golden blank. Yet even as it kissed goodbye, Its warmth still lingered in the sky. The night arrived with calm and grace, But left the sun’s last light in place. And every dusk, so gently done, Reminds the soul: the dawn will come.
