An Ode to the Bustling Metropolis

The city hums with life and sound,
A symphony of bustling streets.
The sights and smells that can be found
Are sensory delights and treats.
The taste of hot coffee in the air,
As morning commuters rush on by.
The feel of concrete underfoot, a glare
Of neon signs that light up the sky.
The scent of food from street vendors,
Mingling with exhaust and smog.
The sight of towering skyscrapers,
Where the city never sleeps, agog.
The sound of honking cars and chatter,
A melody that never fades.
The touch of crowds that bustle and scatter,
As the city pulsates and cascades.
In the city, the senses come alive,
A sensory feast that never ends.
The sights and sounds and smells all thrive,
In this metropolis that transcends.
