The Screech

Static on the screen

Screeching across the air scratching the screen

Picture is gone and the patience is growing thin

Mind is racing as my entertainment ends

Noise never seems to settle as it continues

The time is ticking slowly as the buzz annoys

Staring at the screen hoping the picture comes back

The noise is becoming too much as I stare

My ears are stinging from the sound as I want to hit the ground

My eyes cannot look way from the dots and the waves

Even though my head wants to run away

My mind starts to think if there is more to life than me

But the noise keeps entering my head

I hope it ends before I go mad
