THE SCHOOL OF LIFE

Mohammad Albaba

By Mohammad AlbabaPublished 6 years ago 1 min read

I once boarded a boat and sailed

Right through the sea of life and then failed.

Regret and sadness prevailed.

Then patience and forgetting availed.

In life we travel with so many hopes,

Yet Fate pulls away these hopes with ropes.

When contentment and faith dwell in your heart,

Anxiety and regret will eventually depart.

Life is a school; we always learn

In prosperous times or when they are stern.

I neither know my fate nor am I

Certain of how I shall live or die.

Yet I am certain that my Lord

Will make me victorious without a sword.
