A world so vast, so full of pain,

A place where tears fall like rain,

The sad reality of today,

Is a world where love has lost its way.

A world where hatred runs so deep,

Where people are judged by the color they keep,

Where violence and rage fill the air,

And compassion and kindness seem so rare.

A world where the rich get richer still,

And the poor struggle just to pay their bills,

Where power and greed rule the land,

And injustice spreads like shifting sand.

A world where we've forgotten how to care,

Where loneliness and isolation are everywhere,

Where mental illness takes its toll,

And depression seems to take control.

But in this world, we still have hope,

For there are those who strive to cope,

To lift us up and show us the light,

And guide us through the darkest night.

We can still find love amidst the hate,

And rise above the tides of fate,

For even in the sad reality of today,

There's still hope for a brighter way.
