The sad fisher man
In a quiet village, where shadows fell deep,
A fisherman waited, with worries to keep.
The whispers of hunger gnawed at his bones,
As silence engulfed him, and echoed his moans.
With a heavy heart, he gazed at the shore,
The river had dwindled, its bounty no more.
No dance of the fish, no splashes to cheer,
Just emptiness lingered, and deep-rooted fear.
His children sat hungry, their dreams turned to air,
While he fought against fate, with a quiet despair.
Each cast of his line, a prayer sent to night,
For a chance of a good catch, for a flicker of light.
But the waters lay still, no treasure in hand,
The weight of his failure like stone in the sand.
In that quiet village, where hopes had grown thin,
He grappled with sorrow, a battle within.
As dusk wrapped the sky in a gray, heavy shroud,
He pondered their future, swallowed by doubt.
Then a villager, leaving for shores new far away,
Gifted a motorized boat, a chance to reclaim day.
With hope now ignited, he ventured the sea,
Deeper he traveled, where his heart could be free.
The waters were vibrant, a fishing world to explore,
And a happy ending emerged, with abundance in galore.
